While we do contract with a billing service, we cannot guarantee that your insurance will cover the costs of your out of network home birth and midwifery fees. All fees are at a discounted, early self pay rate. Your insurance may reimburse you for part or all of your midwifery services, or they may not. I offer payment plans.
General fees related to midwifery care
No discounts for late entry to care. $600 non refundable retainer at intake or 50% non refundable deposit due if starting care past 28 weeks. We will then set up a monthly payment plan that works for your family based on our sliding fee scale. All fees to be paid by the 36 week home visit or no further services will be rendered. This is our fee regardless of final place of birth. No discounts for late entry to care.
For clients planning either a hospital birth or an unassisted birth who still desire midwifery care during their pregnancy. Prices are per visit. 600 initial visit, 250 for comprehensive visits, 75 for limited visits.
For clients planning either a hospital birth or an unassisted birth who still desire midwifery care during their postpartum time period. Prices are per visit and include a newborn check as well. Limited postpartum visits for 75 are also available and do not include newborn care.
An additional midwife will be needed to attend your birth for safety purposes. This is an additional fee to our base pricing.
Rental fee for 37 weeks until delivery, must be returned within 2 weeks of baby's birth to the midwife. Client is responsible for setup and tear down, instructions will be provided and we can help when needed. Each client will also purchase a liner for the tub. The new hose for filling is yours to keep as every client must have a new hose for sanitary reasons.
Brief visit with the midwife for fetal heart tones and client vitals. ≤15 minutes. Suitable for clients who are in between care providers or who need to be seen but can't get in to see their provider due to distance or schedule conflicts.
Our birth kits are available on precious arrows and include gloves, chux pads, disposable underwear/pads, peri bottles, etc. If you have some of these items, you can have those items removed for a lower cost. For more details check here:
